Job summary

Loungers' Alno Lounge in Alnwick is seeking Chefs to join our kitchen team. Earn up to £14 per hour plus tips, with paid breaks and staff meals on shift. This role suits experienced Chefs, Chef de Partie, Line Chef, or Grill Chef looking for flexible hours and a supportive team.

You'll work under the Head Chef to maintain high standards, prep, cook to spec, and keep the kitchen running smoothly across all shifts. Excellent teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Reliable and punctual, shows commitment.
• Energetic, fast-paced with a positive attitude.
• Strong team player with clear communication.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure.
• Experience as Grill Chef/Line Chef in high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts.
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety & allergen processes at all times.
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience.
