Job summary

B&Q Salisbury is hiring a part-time Checkouts Customer Advisor to support customers with sales, service and store presentation. The role offers a 10-hour week schedule across 7.00am–8.00pm shifts, on a 3-month fixed-term contract. The store operates across weekdays and weekends, with on-site responsibilities at the Salisbury location.

You’ll be trained in various areas, focusing on delivering friendly, efficient customer service on the tills and helping customers find what they need.

Qualifications

• Friendly and outgoing with a willingness to learn.
• Able to work on a rota including weekends, evenings and bank holidays.
• Comfortable using new technology and learning new ways of working.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert customer advice and guidance to shoppers in-store.
• Support sales through service, click & collect, and setting up displays.
• Keep the store looking attractive and well-presented for customers.
• Be trained in multiple areas, with a focus on delivering great customer service at the till.
