Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Manchester is seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor (MRICS) to join its expanding team. You'll handle a varied mix of student accommodation, residential and mixed-use projects across the Northwest, taking ownership from instruction through to completion.

You'll deliver comprehensive building surveying services, undertake condition surveys, dilapidations, prepare reports and specifications, and act as Contract Administrator on JCT/NEC contracts.

Qualifications

• An MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor with an RICS-accredited degree.
• Strong experience in both professional and project Building Surveying.
• Excellent client-facing and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a broad range of Building Surveying services across Manchester and the Northwest.
• Undertake condition surveys, defect diagnosis and due diligence.
• Prepare reports, specifications and schedules; act as Contract Administrator on JCT/NEC contracts.
• Manage refurbishment and maintenance projects from inception to completion.
• Develop junior team members and maintain client relationships.
