Carter Jonas is recruiting a chartered building surveyor to join our Birmingham Building Consultancy team. The role is client facing and involves generating fees through managing and developing projects across the West and East Midlands, with a focus on commercial buildings.

You will join a four-person Birmingham team delivering a multi-disciplinary service; you will oversee surveys, schedules, feasibility studies and project management for refurbishment, conversion and new builds, while

Qualifications

• RICS chartered with experience in a commercial consultancy.
• A driving licence is essential.
• Experience advising on residential assets and managing multiple projects.
• Strong client management and business development focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full building surveying service to external clients and in-house where required.
• Carry out building surveys of commercial and residential properties.
• Project management, contract administration and design for refurbishment, conversion and new build projects.
• Prepare and issue feasibility studies working with other disciplines as necessary.
