Job summary

Ridge & Partners Llp in London is seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor to join our building surveying team, with a mix of office and site work across prestigious clients.

You'll mentor junior colleagues, develop client relationships, and deliver professional surveying services including condition surveys, dilapidations, and reinstatement cost assessments. This role offers varied work between our London HQ and client sites, with opportunities to support business development in a growing team.

Qualifications

• MRICS Chartered status required.
• Experience advising on commercial, retail or education sector properties.
• Strong MS Office skills; driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project briefs with clients and senior colleagues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Support business development activities within the team.
• Produce designs and specifications, including tender documentation.
• Deliver a broad range of surveying services, including condition surveys, defect analysis, party wall consultancy, dilapidations, reinstatement cost assessments.
• Work closely with clients, contractors and other consultants.
• Support the Team Leader with project financial management.
• Help mentor and develop junior team members as the team grows.
