Qualifications

• MRICS or Graduate APC close to qualifying.
• Experience in building surveying across multiple sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Building Surveyors in day-to-day operations.
• Contract administration on smaller projects and assist on larger ones.
• Conduct planned maintenance surveys and prepare designs/specifications.
• Perform condition surveys and defect investigations.
• Handle Licence for Alterations and Party Wall matters.
• Engage in Pre-Acquisition surveys, Project Management, and Employer’s Agent roles.
• Assist with Reinstatement Cost Assessments for insurance purposes.

Our client, a RICS regulated Chartered Surveying practice based in with offices natiowide. Undertakinginstructions relating to all aspects of Building Surveying and Design services with particular specialist knowledge in a variety of sectors.

With a wealth of experience spanning a range of disciplines, including major works project management, party wall and neighbourly matters, Licence for Alterations, Contract Admin, Design and Spec, Dilapidations and Technical Due Diligence, we act as a trusted advisor to both individuals and corporate entities.

Due to continued growth of the company, they have a vacancy in theTeddington office for an expeienced Chartered Building Surveyor or Graduate Building Surveyor close to qualifyingto work in a fun, but hardworking environment, to deliver a full suite of building surveying duties to our range of clients.

Responsibilities

Supporting the Senior Building Surveyors in the day-to-day running of the business, the role will include assisting with project commissions including:

• Contract administration duties; Responsibility, under minimum supervision, for smaller projects and assistance on major projects with defined levels of responsibility.
• Planned maintenance surveys
• Design and specification of maintenance works
• Condition surveys
• Defect investigation and diagnosis
• Licence for Alterations
• Party Wall matters
• Pre-Acquisition Surveys
• Project Management
• Employer’s Agent roles
• Reinstatement Cost Assessments (for Insurance Purposes).
