Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking a Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer to lead a team on bridge projects within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment. You will deliver designs, assessments and reports to cost and schedule targets in a client-focused setting.

The role offers flexible/hybrid working, professional development toward Chartership, and the opportunity to mentor junior engineers across sectors including bridges and civil works.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer (CEng, MIStructE/MICE).
• Conversant with current bridges design and assessment codes & standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in bridge engineering activities including assessment, analysis, feasibility & detailed designs.
• Prepare technical reports and deliverables.
• Tendering and review of contract documents.
• Coordinate across disciplines to deliver civil designs to cost, schedule and quality.
• Mentor, train and develop junior engineers.
