Job summary

Break Charity in Sawston (Cambridgeshire) is seeking a Relief Retail Assistant Manager to cover days off and holidays at our busy charity shop. You will support the Shop Manager, lead volunteers, and help maximise income through customer service and stock merchandising.

The role involves some weekend work and physical tasks. Training and the opportunity to work across other Break shops in the area may be available.

Qualifications

• Great people skills and a proactive attitude.
• Retail experience is desirable in a busy shop.
• Willingness to undertake physical tasks including lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to maximise income and assist with stock sourcing and merchandising.
• Lead and support volunteers and staff, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Handle cash and maintain accurate till procedures.
