Job summary

British Red Cross incorporated is looking for a Retail Van Driver to manage deliveries, collections and stock transfers for Red Cross shops. You will coordinate with Shop Managers, promote stock donations, and act as the main contact for stock-related matters in the local area.

The role involves driving, warehouse pickups, and ensuring vehicle safety and compliance with health and safety requirements. Casual, flexible hours and local travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a manual UK driving licence for at least two years.
• Knowledge of current driving laws and vehicle safety practices.
• Excellent communication to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Proven experience in van driving, deliveries, and basic vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage deliveries, collections and stock transfers for Red Cross shops.
• Collect stock from warehouses nationwide and distribute to local areas.
• Keep the van safe, clean and serviced with regular safety checks.
• Handle health and safety procedures in line with policy and legislation.
