Job summary

Stride Resource Management Ltd in Birmingham is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to service a busy portfolio of SME charity clients. You will manage renewals, MTAs and day-to-day enquiries, using your broking experience to obtain quotations and secure appropriate cover.

The role is hybrid, with two days in the Birmingham office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and potential additional days during the initial month. Prior charity/not-for-profit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Insurance Account Handler for SME clients.
• Manually brokers, sources quotations, negotiates terms with insurers.
• Experience handling renewals, MTAs and client enquiries.
• Good understanding of commercial insurance products and client-insurer interactions.
• Organised, accurate and able to manage a heavy workload.

Responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of SME charity accounts, managing renewals, MTAs and day-to-day client enquiries.
• Use manual broking to obtain quotations and arrange appropriate cover.
• Manage renewal activity to ensure timely quotations and coverage.
• Deal with clients and insurers, resolving queries and processing policy changes.
• Work across a busy portfolio with strong organisation and prioritisation.
• Develop understanding of charity and not-for-profit insurance requirements.
