Job summary

Buzzacott is offering an apprenticeship-based trainee auditor role within its Charity and Not-For-Profit Team. You will study towards the AAT Levels 3 and 4 under a structured programme, while gaining hands-on audit experience for a range of charities and not-for-profit organisations.

Progression is supported towards Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) after completing the AAT. The firm funds study and exam fees and provides paid study leave to prepare for exams and milestones.

Qualifications

• 144 UCAS tariff points from 3 A-levels or equivalent.
• Level 7 (A) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent.
• MS Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• The right to work in the UK for the duration of the training contract.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trainee auditor in the Charity and Not-For-Profit Team, working with a wide range of not-for-profit organisations.
• Carry out all audit work, including visiting client sites mainly in and around London and the South East
• Keep Seniors, Managers and Partners informed of the progress of the team’s jobs.
• Budget for your time and keep costs within budget wherever possible.
• For smaller assignments, plan and complete the audit file as per the Audit Completion Checklist.
