Job summary

Pro Talent in Central London is seeking motivated individuals to train as Chartered Accountants with ACA qualifications. The role focuses on audits for charities and not-for-profit organisations, with exposure to compliance, tax and internal audit tasks.

You will undertake statutory audits, follow firm policies on ethics, and train under supervision while progressing towards ACA exams. A strong commitment to the not-for-profit sector and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates have passed four to five ACA exams.
• One year of work experience during ACA training.
• UCAS points and GCSE requirements are expected for admission.

Responsibilities

• Undertake client work, mainly statutory audits and related assignments.
• Follow firm policies to deliver high standards and excellent client service.
• Adhere to independence and professional ethics.
• Keep seniors informed of progress on assignments to ensure efficient time use.
• Supervise/train trainee accountants after initial experience gains.
• Work at client premises with minimal supervision when required.
• Maintain ICAEW training records and submit for review every 6 months.
• Fulfill obligations in the ACA training agreement regarding study progress.
• Participate in meetings and internal briefings.
