Job summary

HaysMac in London is offering an Audit Associate apprenticeship that combines practical audits with study towards the ACA qualification. You’ll work with a diverse client base, testing transactions and building confidence in financial reporting from day one.

You will be part of our social purpose team, learn on the job with a dedicated line manager and buddy, and gain exposure to charities and owner‑managed businesses while developing technical skills and professional judgement.

Qualifications

• 120 UCAS points predicted or obtained from your top 3 A-Levels or equivalent
• B at Maths GCSE
• Curious, motivated and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Test financial transactions (e.g. invoices, payments and receipts)
• Review financial data to identify risks or inconsistencies
• Prepare audit working papers and document findings
• Support seniors and managers throughout the audit process
• Attend client meetings and build relationships with client teams
• Work both in the office and on client sites
