Job summary

Chadwick Nott are partnering with a Top 100 UK law firm to recruit an Associate/Senior Associate in Property Litigation for the Exeter team, advising charities and not-for-profit organisations on a broad range of property disputes.

You will manage a varied caseload, including landlord and tenant disputes, leases, rent reviews and boundary issues, while working closely with Charities, Property and Private Wealth teams to deliver seamless advice and foster client relationships.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Property Litigation, ideally at Associate or Senior Associate level.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage matters with a high degree of autonomy.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• Commercially focused with a practical approach to dispute resolution.
• Experience advising charities or not-for-profit organisations would be beneficial, although candidates with a genuine interest in developing this specialism are also encouraged to apply.
• A collaborative team player with a desire to contribute to a successful and growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of property litigation matters, including landlord and tenant disputes, lease renewals, rent reviews, rights of way and boundary disputes.
• Advise on adverse possession claims, trespass matters, possession proceedings and disputes involving third-party rights.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across the firm's Charities, Property and Private Wealth teams to deliver seamless advice on complex matters.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a key adviser to charities, trustees and not-for-profit organisations.
• Contribute to business development initiatives and support the continued growth of a market-leading practice.
