Charge Nurse ( RMN ) – Mental Health Hospital
Salary – £41,475 – £44,648 per annum ( Up to £ per hour )
Location – Abergavenny
Hours – Permanent – Full Time hour shifts
Shift Pattern – Mixed shifts required ( days, nights, and weekends on a rotational basis )

Appoint Healthcare is proud to partner with a reputable national provider of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities. We are seeking an experienced senior Registered Mental Health Nurse ( RMN ) to work in a forensic hospital providing a secure environment with medium, low, and open rehabilitation settings for men and women with mental illness and/or personality disorders.

As a Charge Nurse ( RMN ), your role will be to support the ward manager in managing a secure ward with patients under the mental health act who have diagnoses of mental health issues, personality disorders, and/or learning disabilities.

Requirements

• A relevant nursing qualification ( RMN )
• A valid NMC registration with no restrictions or referrals
• Clinical and leadership experience to support and guide the nursing team
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• At least 2 years of Mental Health nursing experience in the UK
• Willingness to deputise for the ward manager when needed, showing initiative and leadership
• Self-motivated with flexibility to adapt to changing service needs
• Caring, compassionate attitude
• Ability to assess, teach, and lead junior staff
