Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Charge Nurse (Dayshift) for its Milton Keynes specialist neurological service. The role combines hands-on nursing with clinical leadership to support adults with acquired brain injuries and complex conditions.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, set standards for safe, compassionate care and ensure clear documentation and handovers. The position offers development opportunities and a structured pathway for progression.

Qualifications

• NMC-registered RGN, RMN or RNLD with post-registration nursing experience.
• Ability to lead and support colleagues across the shift.
• Strong clinical judgement and care planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support colleagues throughout the shift.
• Use clinical judgement to assess needs, recognise changes and coordinate appropriate care.
• Support clear care planning, documentation and handovers.
• Work with nursing and therapy colleagues to support each person’s needs and goals.
• Lead by example and help colleagues develop confidence and practice.
