Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group is seeking an exceptional Charge Nurse for our Muirfield Nursing Home in Gullane, East Lothian. The role offers £25.22 per hour with a £1,500 joining bonus, and overtime paid at time and a third.

Excellent working environment with strong development potential and a supportive management team. The position emphasizes professional clinical nursing, leadership, and adherence to the NMC code, with a 3-day shift pattern (07:45–20:45) over a week and an extra office

Qualifications

• Experienced nurse with elderly care experience in nursing homes, hospitals or community settings.
• Experience delivering dementia care with clinical leadership.
• Currently at Charge Nurse/Unit Manager level or seeking a step up.
• Strong time management and prioritisation for self and team.
• Ability to advise and guide staff and residents with sensitivity.
• Ability to solve a range of complex issues in a nursing home context.
• Post-registration qualifications or knowledge of employment law are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Promote the highest standards of clinical nursing care within the home.
• Provide a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff and visitors.
• Appraise staff and counsel adhering to company procedures.
• In the Home Manager's absence, assume operational oversight and delegate work.
• Maintain correctly written records and individual care plans.
