Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies tailored to trade and distribution partners in the electrical and plumbing sectors
- Lead the evolution of a national installer loyalty program, deepening engagement with skilled tradespeople and enhancing brand advocacy
- Work cross-functionally to uncover new opportunities, ensuring marketing efforts align with wider business priorities
- Lead PR initiatives for trade audiences, maximising visibility and strengthening brand reputation across earned media channels
- Create and deliver marketing assets that support product campaigns and ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints
- Manage the trade marketing budget, driving efficiency and strong ROI across all activity
- Increase brand awareness and customer engagement across multiple product categories, ensuring clarity and consistency in positioning
- Design and roll out integrated campaigns that drive sales and deepen market penetration in core segments
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate campaign performance and refine strategies based on insights and KPIs
- Liaise with external agencies, suppliers, and partners to support campaign execution and creative development
- Keep pace with developments in the heating, ventilation, and renewable sectors, incorporating emerging trends into marketing plans
- Support broader business goals by contributing to additional projects and responsibilities as required
The Successful Applicant
- Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Solid B2B marketing background, with hands-on experience across the full marketing mix
- Strong strategic mindset combined with practical execution skills across digital and traditional channels
- Previous involvement in managing or supporting loyalty or engagement programmes within a trade or professional audience
- Skilled at collaborating across teams, particularly with sales, product, and cross-functional stakeholders, to align marketing with business objectives
- Proven ability to manage marketing budgets and prioritise resources effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging for a range of audiences
- Experience in leading PR initiatives and producing relevant content to support brand visibility
- Strong interpersonal and influencing abilities, with a track record of building and maintaining stakeholder relationships
