At Babcock, we're working to create a safe and secure world. Join us as a Change Delivery Manager at our Faslane, Helensburgh site.

The role

As a Change Delivery Manager, you'll lead, manage, and support the Change Delivery Team to deliver Additions & Alterations (A&A), Class Modifications, and Minor Trials while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards within agreed timescales and budgets. You'll interface with Babcock, the customer, Commercial, Financial, and Fleet Operations teams.

You will also support the implementation of a site-wide Periodic Safety Review (PSR) program and provide independent technical assessments of the nuclear facilities at HMNB Clyde when requested.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Lead and develop a team of engineers to achieve project and business objectives.
• Coordinate with MOD and Babcock teams to establish future work requirements and ensure accurate estimates.
• Manage contractual governance between MOD and customers, ensuring control measures and KPIs are met.
• Provide performance updates to senior management and sponsors.
• Foster continuous quality and process improvements within the team.
• Identify future opportunities related to resource, training, and 'make vs buy' decisions.

This role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible working arrangements, based in Faslane.

Essential experience

• Commercial and Budgetary experience
• Leading teams in high-risk, safety-critical environments
• Design and installation of complex systems or large-scale modifications

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related discipline; HNC or equivalent considered with relevant experience

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain SC security clearance. Some positions are subject to national security restrictions based on nationality and residency.
