Qualifications

  • Knowledge or experience in UK Defence (Army, Air Force or Royal Navy).
  • Basic familiarity with DevOps principles and tooling (e.g., Jenkins).

  • Build and maintain integrated Release Schedules and Release Notes.

  • Oversee release-related risks and cross-platform deployment dependencies.
  • Govern release content, configuration, and change management.
  • Delivering major releases alongside small/urgent changes and service improvements.
  • Managing governance, content, configuration and change management across End-to-end landscapes.

The role

Parico is seeking a talented Change & Release Manager who is smart, curious and prospers against the challenge of working closely with a small business to solve complex and challenging problems across the Public Sector landscape. You’ll have the freedoms to be truly innovative to roll up your sleeves, get stuck into the detail of systems, and generally do what it takes to achieve incredible technical solutions to our customer’s complex problems. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in providing an effective and efficient change management process that ensure change is released, managed and accounted for professionally.

What you\'ll be doing:

  • Building, maintenance and management of integrated Release Schedules and Release Notes through close collaboration with the delivery teams
  • Implementation planning and deployment management to align with platform change windows
  • Managing release related risks, issues and cross platform deployment dependencies
  • Managing Release key stakeholders at all levels throughout the Release and deployment process
  • Delivering major releases alongside small change, urgent change, service improvements and maintenance
  • Release governance, content, configuration and change management into our integrated End-to-end landscape, Pre-Production and Production

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Release Management experience in a highly complex systems environment within an agile delivery construct
  • Evidence of influential stakeholder management across all a variety of stakeholders levels
  • Experience of using Jira, Remedy and Microsoft or similar collaboration tools to deliver releases
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle (Agile/Waterfall)
  • Experience of Change governance frameworks
  • An understanding of software configuration management principles
  • Experience of collaborating and influencing cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of software development projects
  • Have demonstrable sector knowledge or experience within UK Defence (Army, Air force or Royal Navy)
  • Basic familiarity with DevOps principles and tooling, e.g. Jenkins
