Job Description

This is an opportunity to join Community Housing as their next Chief Financial Officer, responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the rest of the Executive Team and the Board to contribute to the strategic leadership and management of the organisation, playing a crucial role providing financial challenge to the Executive and the Board.
• Providing inspirational financial leadership to Community Housing to ensure that the organisation meets its financial strategic aims and objectives aligned to Corporate Plan, Vision and Values.
• Managing the finance function in order to deliver robust financial controls, improving performance and mitigating the risk for Community Housing in the long run.

Leading, motivating and developing the Finance, IT, Procurement and Risk functions.

The Successful Applicant

You will be a CCAB or equivalent qualified accountant with a proven track record of achievement, with the ability to drive and manage a diverse workforce.The ideal candidate will have worked in social housing or other relevant industries, with experience managing a finance function. It is also important you have previously attended board, audit or finance committee meetings.Community Housing's values are at the heart of everything they do, enabling each colleague to positively contribute to the organisations success.
