The Role: CFO

We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team and help build the foundation for our next phase of growth. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in early-stage environments and wants to be part of building something from the ground up—with both operational ownership and financial leadership.

You’ll work directly with the CEO to drive financial discipline, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic planning.

Finance and Operational Leadership

  • Lead all financial operations: forecasting, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and controls.
  • Manage and continuously refine the financial model to reflect the company’s evolving product and commercial structure.
  • Deliver monthly investor and board-ready reporting with clear performance insights.
  • Oversee cap table management and all activities related to fundraising, from financial modeling to diligence support.
  • Create and implement a tax-effective share option scheme.
  • Partner with the CEO to prepare and execute a £3.5M+ fundraise in 2025.
  • Design and implement core operational systems and infrastructure to support scaling.
  • Set up and monitor operational KPIs, systems, and reporting tools.
  • Streamline internal processes to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.
  • Oversee legal and administrative operations, including the development and review of contracts, vendor agreements, employment documents, and confidentiality/IP-related materials.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor across workstreams, ensuring clarity, accountability, and execution excellence.
  • Build and manage the operations team as the business grows.
  • 25 days contractual annual leave.
