Zanda is an Executive search partner that works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VCs, Founders, CEOs and CFOs when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.

Who’s the business

Zanda is partnering with a rapidly growing B2B SaaS platform that helps its enterprise financial services clients to execute effectively in a digital-first world. The business is Series C staged and driving towards profitability whilst moving forward with further expansion and fundraising plans.

The CEO is looking to identify a strong CFO to act as a Co-pilot to them in the business as they look to professionalize across the business. The role will be responsible for owning future fundraising / investor relations and lead in creating the best finance function possible that acts as an integrated partner across the business.

The business is approaching £30m ARR and looking for an experienced scaleup finance leader, capable of driving the business to £100m ARR and 300 heads over the next 2-3 years.

What experiences you will gain

Play a leading role in identifying suitable funding options for the business as it looks to scale beyond the Series C stage.
Provide a key partner to the CEO in all strategic and operational areas of the business.
Lead the financial strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
Connect data across the business, ensuring full visibility into the numbers and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Oversee reliable month-end close processes and maintain historical data integrity.
Develop and refine pricing strategies alongside our commercial and product teams that align with market needs and drive revenue growth, ensuring our products are competitively positioned.
Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk to ensure financial stability and support the company’s growth trajectory.
Establishing relevant B2B SaaS metrics and OKRs across the business with charisma to be able to drive performance.
Developing a robust finance, revenue and sales forecasting model to facilitate short, medium and longer-term business and operational planning.
Supporting the business in senior commercial negotiations with current and potential suppliers and partners, with responsibility for legal and contractual agreements and supplier relationships.
Supporting and owning elements of international expansion.

What background should you have before you press apply!

Proven experience as a CFO / VP Finance in a B2B SaaS venture backed business, with the ability and gravitas to act as a true business partner to the CEO and management team.
Previously played a leading role in a Series C + round or IPO.
High IQ and EQ.
Experience with pricing strategies, financial modelling, and revenue forecasting within a B2B SaaS scaleup.
Strong business partnering skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
Experience with international financial operations and understanding of multi-market pricing.
Excellent communication skills, able to present financial insights clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
Ability and enthusiasm to balance major topics (fundraising, world class BI/MI), combined with continuous focus on everyday details (margins, financial controls, efficient sales process)
Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent communication and people skills, able to manage and influence key stakeholders, both externally and internally
