Role Overview

The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the executive team, leading the financial operations across a group of companies operating in the fast-evolving gaming, crypto, and marketing sectors. This role demands deep expertise in digital asset management, regulatory compliance, and financial strategy, with a proven track record in high-growth, tech-driven environments. The CFO will ensure robust financial health, optimize performance, and drive innovation in a complex, multi-jurisdictional landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Financial Leadership

• Develop and execute financial strategies that align with company growth objectives across gaming, crypto, and marketing divisions.
• Advise the CEO and board on financial planning, investment opportunities, and risk mitigation.
• Lead fundraising efforts, including venture capital, token sales, and debt financing.
• Support M&A activity and integration across the group.
• Financial Operations & Reporting
• Oversee accounting, FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for all entities.
• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Optimise financial processes and implement scalable systems to support business expansion.
• Crypto Asset & Treasury Management
• Manage digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, tokens, and NFTs, ensuring liquidity and security.
• Oversee tokenomics, including supply, vesting, buybacks, and distribution models.
• Allocate capital between on-chain (DeFi, staking, yield farming) and off-chain assets for optimal returns.
• Risk Management & Compliance
• Develop and maintain robust risk management frameworks, covering market, liquidity, and cybersecurity risks.
• Ensure compliance with global financial regulations (FATF, SEC, MiCA, AML/KYC), especially in crypto and gaming.
• Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to address multi-jurisdictional challenges and evolving regulatory requirements.
• Stakeholder & Investor Relations
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capital firms, exchanges, and institutional partners.
• Provide transparent, data-driven financial reporting and insights to stakeholders.
• Represent the group in negotiations with partners, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Team Leadership & Development
• Hire, mentor, and lead finance and accounting teams across the group.
• Foster a culture of excellence, ethical conduct, and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 7-10 years as CFO or Finance Director in high-growth tech, gaming, crypto, or marketing environments.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the gaming industry, blockchain/crypto finance, and digital marketing economics.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling, tokenomics, treasury management, and regulatory compliance (crypto and gaming).
• Strategic Acumen: Proven track record in fundraising, M&A, and driving profitable growth in complex organizations.
• Leadership: Strong communication, team-building, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical Ability: Advanced skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Regulatory Savvy: Up-to-date with crypto, gaming, and marketing industry regulations and best practices.
