Job summary

Alpine Racing Limited seeks a CFD Student Placement to support the CFD team in deploying computational modelling techniques for aerodynamic development. You will work with experienced CFD engineers to run simulations and analyse data to improve lap times.

Based at our Enstone facilities, the role offers exposure to advanced simulations and collaboration across Aerodynamics, Design and Performance groups in a high-performance setting.

Qualifications

• Currently studying a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Motorsport Engineering, or related discipline.
• Penultimate-year placement student with strong fundamentals in fluid dynamics and aerodynamics.
• Interest in CFD and numerical simulations; able to interpret technical data.

Responsibilities

• Support CFD tools to simulate aerodynamic and thermodynamic behaviour for development projects.
• Assist setup, execution, and analysis of CFD simulations and correlate with experimental data.
• Contribute to process improvements and documentation for CFD workflows.
• Collaborate with Aerodynamics, Design and Performance groups on development programmes.
