Job summary

Groupe Atlantic in Hull, UK, is seeking a Certification Engineer to join its R&D team. You will manage certification and product compliance across new and existing products, ensuring alignment with UK and international standards and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with engineering, quality and project teams, develop Declarations of Conformity, maintain the internal certification database, and support knowledge sharing on regulatory matters to drive on-time delivery and compliant

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification or degree/HNC required or equivalent.
• Experience in product development, compliance, certification or continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of heating, HVAC, refrigeration or combustion products is advantageous.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and manage priorities to completion.

Responsibilities

• Support certification activities across new product introductions and engineering changes.
• Generate and manage Declarations of Conformity across product streams.
• Maintain internal product certification database and instrumentation records.
• Collaborate with QA, engineering and project teams on standards management.
• Engage with UK, European and US approval bodies (BSI, KIWA, Intertek).
• Provide regulatory knowledge support to product development teams.
