Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead the charity, shaping strategy and sustainability while representing RoR to supporters, partners and regulators.

Based in our hybrid offices in Lambourn (with extensive travel), you will build a high-performing team, secure funding, oversee operations and governance, and foster a culture of impact for former racehorses. The role requires a proven leader with fundraising experience and a passion for equine welfare.

Qualifications

• Proven strategic leadership experience in a charity or large organisation.
• Track record in fundraising and financial management.
• Strong stakeholder and partnership management across sectors.

Responsabilités

• Lead RoR’s strategy and delivery, reporting to the board of trustees.
• Oversee operations, governance and financial stability and secure funding.
• Act as a spokesperson externally, building relationships with partners and networks.
