Job summary

Third Sector seeks an inspiring Chief Executive Officer to lead a principled charity shaping a fairer and more open justice system. You will drive strategy, operations and financial sustainability, acting as a credible public voice and forging partnerships with policymakers, funders and civil society.

The role blends strategic leadership with hands-on delivery across campaigns, research and fundraising. As CEO you will partner with the Chair and Board to translate ambitions into practical plans,

Qualifications

• Experience of leading people, projects or organisations and turning priorities into practical action.
• Strong advocacy, campaigning and/or research background essential.
• Ability to influence policy, public debate and decision-makers.
• Financial awareness and ability to develop sustainable fundraising plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead the charity's strategy, people and operations, translating ambitions into actionable plans.
• Be a credible public voice, building relationships with policymakers, funders and partners.
• Develop fundraising strategies, diversify income and manage budgets and risk.
• Work with the Chair and Board on governance, direction and sustainability.
