Job summary

Saint Catherine's Hospice is seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer to lead our organisation in the next chapter. You will work with the Board and Executive Team to shape and deliver strategy, champion innovation and ensure the charity remains responsive to community needs and the wider health landscape.

You will lead on governance, sustainability and stakeholder partnerships, with a deep commitment to hospice, palliative and end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Must have substantial senior leadership experience in healthcare, hospice care, or charitable/complex organisations.
• Track record of setting strategy, delivering change and measurable outcomes.
• Strong governance, risk management and financial stewardship abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, delivery and evolution of Saint Catherine's strategy.
• Ensure high-quality, compassionate and person-centred care with strong clinical governance.
• Provide visible, inclusive leadership to the Executive Team, staff and volunteers.
• Build influential partnerships with commissioners, health and care providers, local authorities and other stakeholders.
• Strengthen financial resilience through sustainable planning and diversified income.
• Act as the organisation's principal ambassador and advocate locally, regionally and nationally.
