Job summary

St Joseph's Hospice is seeking an experienced senior leader to guide a diverse portfolio of supportive care services in East London. Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide strategic, operational, and professional leadership across a broad range of services to ensure outstanding, person-centred care until the end of life.

Qualifications

• Professional registration within a health or social care profession.
• Significant senior leadership experience within palliative care or related services.
• Experience leading large multidisciplinary teams and complex services.
• Strong strategic planning, operational management and service transformation skills.
• Experience of budget management, workforce planning and service development.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic, operational and professional leadership across a broad range of services.
• Lead development and delivery of the supportive care strategy in line with the Hospice Strategy 2026-2031.
• Drive service transformation and strengthen community partnerships.
• Engage diverse communities and support compassionate community ambitions.
• Act as Safeguarding Lead for Adults and Children with governance responsibility.
