MTrec Limited is actively seeking an experienced pump fitter to join their engineering service team in a day shift role.

Ideal candidates are time-served engineers with a proven track record in the rotating equipment industry and experience with pumps. The role requires flexible overtime and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Time-served fitter/engineer experience is essential.
• Experience servicing/fitting/assembly of pumps and rotating equipment.
• Flexible approach and availability for overtime when required.
• Honest and reliable with good teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, repair and re-assemble rotating equipment, mainly pumps.
• Work as part of a small service team for diverse equipment from a worldwide customer base.
• Ensure timely work to pre-determined deadlines and high-quality output.
• Assist in generating reports to company standards for customers.
• Follow company procedures and industry standards in all tasks.
• Support internal teams to identify root causes of issues and participate in cross-disciplinary activities.

The Company

• Our client is a forward-thinking well-established Engineering company. Growth is the reason they are now looking to recruit a Pump Fitter to work in a day shift role.

The Job you’ll do

• The Fitter reports directly to the Engineering Manager, and is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair and re-assembly of various rotating pieces of equipment, primarily pumps.
• The Fitter will work as part of a small team which sees a great variety of equipment pass through the service department from a worldwide customer base, so good teamwork and product knowledge is essential to achieve the best results in a growing business.
• Ideally from a service background the successful candidate will be a time served engineer with a proven track record in the rotating equipment industry.
• Timely disassembly, inspection and repair of equipment to pre-determined deadlines.
• Produce work to the highest standard to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Assisting in the generation of reports to company standards to meet with customer expectations.
• Work within industry standards as per company procedures.
• Support internal teams to get to the root cause of specific issues.
• To take part in specialist or multi-disciplinary team activities.
