Job summary

Nova Training is seeking a proactive Centre Manager to lead the Telford centre's daily operations and performance. You will report to the Regional Manager and oversee teaching hours, occupancy, and staff scheduling to ensure high-quality learner experiences.

With a background in supervising training and relevant FE qualifications, you will drive engagement, manage safeguarding, and support centre teams across sites as required.

Qualifications

• At least two years experience of supervising/delivering training or supporting young people (14-18).
• Teaching qualification PGCE, Cert Ed, C&G 7303, CTTLS, DTLLS.
• ILM Level 5/7 Management Qualification.
• CIPD Qualification.
• TAQA or A1/V1.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in a Further Education setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain optimum occupancy on all current programmes in the centre.
• Monitor engagement and learner progress across classrooms and support behaviour management.
• Ensure staff and learners are punctual and teaching hours are delivered.
• Ensure schemes of work and lesson plans meet awarding body requirements and align with head office and other sites.
• Plan, direct, coordinate and schedule centre staff and delivery.
• Identify training needs and recommend courses for staff development (L2/3 or equivalents).
