Job summary

HiQ Tyres & Autocare in Coventry is seeking a Centre Manager to lead a team of automotive technicians. You will drive operational excellence, manage costs, and ensure top customer service in a fast-paced retail/service centre.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm with a half-day on Saturdays; salary is based on experience. You will set objectives, monitor KPIs, and deliver continuous improvements to profitability and customer satisfaction.

HiQ Tyres & Autocare has an exciting new opportunity for a Centre Manager to join the team in our Coventry Centre. The role is offered on a full-time permanent basis, Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm – half a day finish on a Saturday, salary depending on experience.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead and manage a talented team of automotive technical professionals. What you will be doing as a Centre Manager:

• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive technical staff, ensuring they are adequately resourced and skilled to meet Company and customer objectives.

• Foster a high-performance, harmonized culture where achievements are celebrated, and underperformance is effectively managed.

• Ensure that operational performance consistently meets Company and customer KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

• Oversee stores costs and margins, driving improvements where necessary.

• Maximise profit and turnover through effective resource management and operational excellence.

• Set clear objectives for each department, with planning and execution to ensure targets are met efficiently and effectively.

• Develop and deliver strategies that align with the Company's broader objectives, ensuring business goals are consistently achieved.

• Support the Company in achieving consistently high levels of customer satisfaction and building strong customer relationships.

• Plan and coordinate key merchandising activities, ensuring robust stock management routines are in place.
