SPACE invites applications for a Centre Administrator to support the Bideford and Barnstaple Youth Centre teams. This 1-year fixed-term contract offers 16 hours a week, with possible up to 4 more hours as needed, and requires regular travel between sites.
You will handle admin tasks, records, cash handling, and health & safety checks, acting as the first point of contact and coordinating premises access. Evening/weekend work may be required for training and meetings.

We are looking to recruit to a one year fixed-term opportunity to work as our centre administrator for our North Team in Bideford and Barnstaple.
Note: This is fixed term as the current post-holder has themself secured a secondment opportunity as the ‘Premises and Facility Manager’ joining the Business Support Team and will be improving our capacity and capability in managing the physical assets needed to deliver a safe and quality youth work service.
Location: Bideford or Barnstaple - Regular travel will be required to both sites.

This position provides essential administrative support to the Bideford and Barnstaple Youth Centre teams, ensuring smooth daily operations across service delivery, premises management, and general administration. Acting as the primary point of contact for the centres, the role supports facility operations, routine finance duties, health and safety checks, and database management, while upholding Space Youth Services' core values in all communications. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for training and staff meetings.
