Job summary

SPACE is seeking a Youth Support Worker for our Exmouth & Ottery youth centres. This part-time, permanent role is 7 hours per week, with 2 evenings and occasional weekends. Training and support will be provided to help you unlock young people’s potential.

You will join a team delivering high quality youth work, with a focus on collaboration and learning. Apply by 7 September 2026; interview 18 September 2026 at The Kennaway centre, Hive youth centre Exmouth.

  • Experience or interest in youth work.
  • Willingness to learn and be trained.
  • Commitment to safeguarding of young people.
  • Able to work evenings and weekends as required.

  • Assist in the design and delivery of the youth work curriculum and programmes.
  • Plan, evaluate and evidencing of youth work.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Youth Support Worker to work at our youth centre in Exmouth & Ottery. The work will be part-time, permanent, 7 hours per week, and will include working 2 evenings per week and occasional weekends. Come and join a team of youth workers delivering high quality youth work. Learn new skills - training and support will be provided.

Recruiting for attitude and seeking candidates with a passion to work with young people and help them to unlock their potential. The role is fun, challenging and rewarding.
