Qualifications
HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist
BSc Biomedical Science or equivalent
IBMS Specialist Portfolio or equivalent
Specialist scientific knowledge in Cellular Pathology to underpin service delivery
Responsibilities
To work as part of a team of Biomedical Scientists and support workers, using extensive specialist knowledge to assist in the Cellular Pathology service
To ensure compliance with regulatory standards including ISO 15189, HTA and screening programmes
Assist with training and education activity
Proficient in production of accurate and timely routine and specialist histopathology and diagnostic cytology testing
