Job summary

Stannah is recruiting a Cell Leader for the Manufacturing Department based at Newburn, Newcastle. The role involves coordinating daily shift activities, leading a team in a fast-paced environment, and driving performance to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

The position is a permanent contract, 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 06:15 to 16:00. An experienced manufacturing professional with lean experience is preferred to develop leadership within a growing business.

Qualifications

• Experience in a modern manufacturing environment.
• Experience supervising or leading a small to medium-sized team.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team briefings and training to build capability and engagement.
• Drive performance to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Manage staffing needs, including absence cover and overtime planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
• Coach and mentor team members while fostering a safe, positive culture.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety principles and CI processes.
