Job summary

Stannah Group in Newcastle is seeking a Cell Leader to coordinate daily shift activities within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will lead a small to medium team, drive safety, quality, delivery and cost targets, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.

The role requires prior experience in modern manufacturing, supervising teams, and a solid understanding of health and safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a modern manufacturing environment with supervision/leadership of a small to medium team.
• Strong understanding of health and safety principles and continuous improvement processes.
• Good organisational, communication, IT and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret production data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team briefings and training to develop capability and engagement.
• Drive team performance to meet production targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Manage staffing needs including absence cover, overtime planning and attendance administration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and solve production challenges.
• Coach, mentor and support team members, fostering a positive and safety-focused culture.
