Job summary

Stannah Group in Newcastle is seeking a Cell Leader to join the Manufacturing Department at Newburn. You will coordinate daily shift activities, lead a small to medium team and drive performance to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.

This permanent, part-time role is 37 hours per week (Mon-Wed 19:45–05:45; Thu 19:45–04:45). You will apply lean manufacturing principles, supervise teams, and support continuous improvement across production.

Qualifications

• Experience in a modern manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading or supervising a small to medium-sized team.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and continuous improvement experience.
• Good organisation, communication and IT skills; ability to interpret production data.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily team briefings and training to develop team capability and engagement.
• Drive team performance to achieve production targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Manage staffing requirements, including absence cover, overtime planning and attendance administration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and resolve production challenges.
• Coach, mentor and support team members while fostering a positive and safety-focused culture.
