Job summary

Marken, UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics, the clinical and advanced therapy subsidiary of UPS Healthcare, seeks a hands-on operational professional to support Cell & Gene shipments. You will coordinate packaging, tracking, and dispatch, ensuring compliance with GDP and SOPs across international routes.

Reporting to the Cell & Gene Operations Lead, you will liaise with control tower teams, airlines, and ground handlers to optimize routing and delivery timelines.

Qualifications

• PC/System literate.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in courier or freight industry.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical Logistics.
• Temperature controlled shipping.
• Security Level D.
• Export/Import and Transport in office environment.
• Permanent employee type.

Responsibilities

• Support the Cell and Gene team with daily operations and liaise with Control Tower Coordinators.
• Use technology to monitor, manage and control shipments as required.
• Collaborate with LSPs, branches and depots to arrange shipments.
• Prepare packaging and equipment per COPs/SOPs.
• Coordinate and dispatch drivers for collections and deliveries per GDP.
• Work with regulatory team to ensure trade compliance for imports/exports.
• Book shipments with Airlines and Integrators for best routing.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of shipments with airlines/ground handlers.
• Label and prepare shipments for export and meet airline cut-off times.
• Maintain Maestro system data and confirm key milestones.
• Send pre-alerts to Marken branches and service providers.
• Pre- and post-flight shipment checks and airline communications.
• Escalate issues to Cell & Gene Management.
