Job summary

Jazz Cafe, part of The Columbo Group, in Camden, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join its live music kitchen team. You’ll run your section during prep and service, cook with consistency and attention to detail, and help keep service smooth during busy shows while upholding high hygiene standards.

We offer competitive pay (£14.00–£16.00 per hour) with tronc, a dynamic environment, training via the Columbo Academy, staff discounts, and opportunities to travel for top performers.

We’re looking for a Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Jazz Cafe.

Jazz Cafe is a world-famous, award-winning live music venue in Camden. For over 30 years it has hosted rising stars and global talent across hip hop, soul, jazz, world and electronic music. The restaurant sits on a stunning mezzanine overlooking the stage, creating one of the most unique dining experiences in London, where guests enjoy great food and drinks while watching live music just metres away.

It’s a fast-paced environment with a lot going on. We’re looking for a skilled and organised Chef de Partie who can run their section confidently and deliver consistently high-quality food during busy services.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running your section during prep and service while maintaining high food standards.

What to Expect

• Competitive pay: £14.00 per hour plus tronc (total package usually between £14.00-£16.00 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
