Job summary

Progressive is seeking a CDM Site Manager for a fast-paced FMCG warehouse roofing project in Herefordshire. This 5-week contract (24 September - 30 October) is outside IR35 and is fully on-site, with 8-10 hour days and a strong safety focus.

You will act as the client's representative on site, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring CDM compliance. Responsibilities include managing RAMS, permits, site inductions, and reinforcing a safety culture through leadership.

Qualifications

• CDM site management to ensure CDM regulations and client procedures.
• SMSTS knowledge to manage and supervise site operations safely.
• First aid readiness for onsite incidents.
• Working at heights with safe systems of work.
• NEBOSH qualification welcomed as risk management enhancement.
• FMCG experience welcomed for project pace.
• Stakeholder management with client, subcontractors and on-site teams.
• RAMS and permits: review risk assessments and issue permits.
