Job description

Role: Health & Safety Advisor (CDM)

Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + car / allowance + package

Job Purpose:

The ideal candidate will be a driven Health and Safety professional with proven experience providing CDM support for major construction/development projects and creating a range of CDM documentation such as Pre-Construction Information, Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans, etc.

Ideally, you will be located in the Midlands, possess the NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, and be able to demonstrate that you either hold or are willing to work towards gaining the NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent).

The position will be primarily based at the head office in Wolverhampton but will require some travel to clients' sites across the UK for meetings and audits.

Candidates must have experience working within design teams and coordinating all aspects of health and safety during the pre-construction phase. Excellent communication skills are essential, and experience in a Principal Designer role is desirable.

You should have experience providing guidance and advice aligned with current health and safety legislation to all personnel levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong reading, writing, and communication skills, and a flexible, committed approach are required.

Hybrid working arrangements are available if needed.
