A leading consulting firm is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor (CDM) to support major construction projects. The ideal candidate will have NEBOSH certification, experience in design teams, and strong communication skills. This permanent role is based in Wolverhampton, with hybrid working options available.
The ideal candidate will be a driven Health and Safety professional with proven experience providing CDM support for major construction and development projects. They should be skilled in creating CDM documentation such as Pre-Construction Information and Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans.
Ideally, you will be located in the Midlands, possess the NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate, and be willing to work towards gaining the NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Level 5 (or equivalent).
The position is primarily based at the head office in Wolverhampton but will require travel to clients' sites across the UK for meetings and audits.
Candidates must have experience working within design teams and coordinating health and safety during the pre-construction phase. Excellent communication skills are essential, and experience as a Principal Designer is desirable.
You should have experience providing guidance in line with current health and safety legislation and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills, along with a flexible and committed approach, are required.
