Job summary

HRC Recruitment in Glasgow is seeking a CDM Advisor to help ensure health and safety is integrated from design through construction and handover. You will advise project teams on CDM 2015 duties, support the Principal Designer, and help deliver safe-to-build schemes.

The role requires solid CDM 2015 knowledge, a health & safety qualification, and strong communication and organisational skills to influence designers, clients and contractors on live projects.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of CDM 2015 and HSE guidance.
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent.
• Excellent communication with designers, clients and contractors.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Experience as CDM Advisor or Principal Designer in construction or infra.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on CDM 2015 duties
• Support Principal Designer function and health and safety file prep
• Contribute to design risk assessments and reviews
• Review Construction Phase Plans and RAMS
• Attend meetings and site visits and report compliance
• Maintain records of design risk management and safety decisions
• Promote positive health and safety culture
