Job Description:

• Lead and manage all aspects of primary engineering from project initiation through to as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Review HV design documentation in accordance with applicable specifications and ensure the completion of relevant design deliverables.
• Oversee the development of design documentation.
• Submit complete design packages for design audits and ensure compliance with formal change management processes.
• Attend and actively contribute to design review meetings and hazard identification reviews.
• Issue final certified design packages and coordinate formal design compliance documentation.
• Manage primary engineering scope within schedule, budget, and risk frameworks, including forecasting and change management.
• Provide solutions for substation configurations, including single-line diagrams, layout planning, technical drawings, and supporting documentation based on applicable standards and project requirements.
• Prepare equipment specifications, RFQ packages, and evaluate supplier documentation for technical compliance.
• Support site execution teams with technical input during construction and commissioning phases.
• Carry out technical calculations, bills of quantities, and equipment schedules.
• Review supplier designs and factory acceptance test plans; attend FATs and other verification activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience in substation design and engineering, ideally with EHV/HV AIS and GIS projects.

Certifications & Skills:

• Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) for HV plant or equivalent authorization under national regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CAD software, particularly MicroStation and AutoCAD.
