Job summary

Sodexo is recruiting a CCTV Operator for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Manchester (site-based with Kent duties). The role requires monitoring CCTV and security platforms, producing incident reports, and liaising with police and contractors.

It offers a 42-hour week at £14.32 per hour. Ideal candidates will hold a valid SIA CCTV licence, demonstrate strong English communication and report-writing skills, and show attention to detail with solid time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and electronic security platforms, responding appropriately to incidents and unplanned events.
• Produce and distribute accurate incident reports in a professional and timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, site activities, and security operations.
• Liaise with police, emergency services, contractors, visitors, and authorised personnel when required.
• Manage controlled access through video management platforms.
• Monitor and elevate incidents through established reporting channels.
• Answer and log helpdesk calls and provide operational support.
• Support customer requests and ensure service standards and deadlines are met.
• Monitor and elevate Dataminr incidents and produce associated reports.
• Foster excellent working relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Assist in maintaining a safe working environment and the integrity of the Control Room.
• Undertake additional reasonable duties in line with business needs.

Shift Pattern: 2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Days Off
Contract: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)
Hours: 42 hours per week

Are you an experienced CCTV Operator looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a professional and vigilant individual to join our security operations team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring security systems, managing incidents, and delivering excellent customer service.
