Due to a high volume of projects, we’re looking for an experienced CCTV Installation Engineer to join Techwise Support on a permanent, full-time basis. You’ll be out in the field installing Unifi and Hikvision CCTV systems for our growing client base, working alongside our technical team to deliver high-quality, reliable security solutions. We’re looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ hands‑on experience in CCTV installation, ideally within a commercial or MSP environment.
You’ll be responsible for the end‑to‑end installation of Unifi and Hikvision CCTV systems across a variety of client sites. This includes surveying sites ahead of installation, running cabling, mounting cameras, configuring NVRs and network video management software, and commissioning systems to a high standard. You’ll liaise directly with clients to ensure they’re happy with the setup, provide basic user training, and maintain accurate job records and documentation. No two sites are the same, so you’ll need to be adaptable and solutions‑focused when challenges arise on the job.
You’re a hands‑on engineer who takes pride in a clean, professional installation. You’re comfortable working independently on‑site, managing your time effectively, and communicating confidently with clients throughout a job. You pay attention to detail, follow health and safety procedures, and understand the importance of getting it right the first time. You’re eager to develop your skills—particularly around IP networking as it applies to surveillance systems—and you’re a team player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues when needed.
At Techwise Support, our CCTV and physical security work centres on two primary platforms—Unifi Protect for our network‑based surveillance deployments and Hikvision for traditional IP and analogue HD installations. You’ll be working across a variety of site types, from small business offices to multi‑site commercial environments.
