Job summary

The Lanes Group in Plymouth is seeking a CCTV Engineer to manage an increasing workload across our drainage network. You will operate CCTV gear to measure pipe heights and depths, identify damage and debris, and report findings to clients.

You will access pipes via manholes, then perform the majority of work from a van equipped with CCTV and a computer system, recording activities on a tablet for client reporting.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to work in a 2 person team.
• IT skills including Excel.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• OX19 Preferrable.
• CSCS Card Preferrable.

Responsibilities

• Use CCTV to measure the heights and depths of the pipe and check for damages to be recorded.
• Access the pipe via manhole covers to insert the CCTV camera with accuracy.
• Carry out majority of work from a van equipped with CCTV and computer system.
• Use a tablet to keep records and report findings back to clients.
