Job summary

The Lanes Group is looking for a CCTV Engineer to manage our increased workload across our Chester network. You will operate CCTV equipment to measure the heights and depths of pipes and to check for debris or grease build-up, reporting back to clients as required.

You will access pipes via manhole covers and perform most tasks from a van equipped with CCTV and computer systems, using a tablet to maintain records and essential paperwork.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving license is required.
• Able to work in a two-person team.
• IT skills including Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• OX19 postcode preferable.
• CSCS card preferable.

Responsibilities

• Use CCTV to measure the heights and depths of the pipe and record any damage.
• Access the pipe via manhole covers to insert the CCTV camera with accuracy.
• Carry out most work from a van equipped with CCTV and a computer system.
• Use a tablet to keep records and report back to clients.
